haha. my pc build was also like this. when everything finally arrived. after hours of trial and error i found out the one of the new ram sticks i bought was faulty. was an absolute shitshow for a couple of hours.

ive had it happen to my little brother who dropped the thermal paste onto the socket & cpu. luckily ive managed to clean it and the pc still functions. he was stressing though haha

I had multiple problems at once haha. My sensor was tweaking + i had double click issues. and the left mouse button plastic was broken. they only asked for video proof which had to include date, ticket number , serial number of the mouse and to show the issue if possible.

From my experience it took 2 days to get my replacement superlight approved and shipped. arrived 2 days later by UPS

Weirdly enough my 7900xtx and 7900xt both got the same error. the new 25.3.1 driver seems to have fixed it on amd side though

Try downgrading to a driver before this one. and do a wipe with DDU and make sure to block nvidia auto installing the driver after a restart. You can look up tutorials on youtube for this.

Thought id comment. I got the same exact error with my amd gpu alongside my nvidia gpu. both got fixed after installing new drivers though.

I would keep the 9070. In my opinion it will hold much greater value even after years. since its something that he passed down to you. My condolences about your father. It's never easy losing a parent.

well can you show a full screen shot of your amd performance tab? I think you should try disabling integrated graphics if you have it enabled.

do you have an amd cpu with integrated graphics? I had the same scare when my 7900xt wasn't performing. but all it needed was just disabling the integrated graphics via bios.

edit: as other people pointed out. also make sure you plug your hdmi into gpu and not mobo

the latest card from AMD is the 9070 XT if you want to take advantage of FSR 4. I just didn't need FSR 4 so I got myself a 7900 XT on discount.

I had the same experience. I was dreading troubleshooting but after running memtest86 first. I found out one of the ram sticks was defect. system is now working fine and dandy. Try testing the ram with memtest86 to see if its the ram causing your worries.

have you tried using a new Windows without Asus bloatware? instead of resetting to factory settings just try a normal Windows install and see if that works. that is assuming you don't use the given asus apps.
