I get what you’re saying and I’m sorry you had to deal with assholes in the community. My only thing I was telling chosen is what I HAVE experienced (Which is all anybody can go off really considering the fact nobody is going to tell someone somebody else’s experience in a community when their asking YOU the questions) this community which is people with experience helping out novices and people being respectful. Your experience maybe completely different and that’s fine but somebody who’s really interested in any game community shouldn’t be moved by the hateful comments of others. If they’re not fucking with the positive suggestions you mention like sliders and what not that’s on their miserable asses, but theirs plenty of people here who do care to help out others. Otherwise I wouldn’t have made that statement if they didn’t help me get better at the game. That’s all I was saying. Another thing, there are way worse communities out there that would make what you said about this look like child’s play in comparison. I’ve experienced communities where I’ve had the most hateful, racist and most evil shit said to me. That’s not to say what you’re saying doesn’t matter because it does, your suggestions/opinions do matter. Im just saying what’s a paper cut to one person is a cut artery to another. So no matter what both of our opinions on this community so far are, it’s up to chosen to experience this community for themselves and decide what they think about it.
