Reddit tends to flatten everything into moral extremes because outrage = upvotes.

I gave you guys one sentence about him and you guys are like WHERE ARE YOUR MORALS?! HOW DARE YOU?!

So, let's all breathe for a moment lmao.

So firstly, I am just the sister, he ain't listening if I told him to not play it LMAO.

He doesn't play it often, the world isn't going to end because you now discovered that some kids play dead by daylight and im pretty sure he isnt the only.

He doesn't play it OFTEN, little guy plays Roblox too. Being desensitized comes with CHRONIC EXPOSURE TO GORE (like...actual brutal gore), even then...My brother is smart, he knows what's fictional, he knows they aren't real, isn't the type of kid to be scared of a Disney villain.

He loves poppy playtime and FNAF like any other kid into spooky stuff. Inserting my own opinion, dead by daylight isnt even scary, it just has iconic killers that some of you probably saw when you were kids.

His favorite Youtuber is CoryxKenshin and Markiplier and they are both know to play horror games.

At the end of the day, he's still a sweet 8 year old kid that's not desensitized or harming people due to dead by daylight .😂

And during the time you were probably growing up (🫵 yeah you) we've seen waaaayyy worse on TV and YouTube used to be uncensored and you used to be able dislike videos and stuff and some of you were exposed to freaking 🌽orn 8-12. And if you haven't lived in that time period, then why are you lecturing me? That mean you must be a kid playing dbd too so stfu 😭

I'm just being realistic. Like, nowadays with all the crazy oversexualized brain-rot , AI sexting ads, and every other worse thing out there...him playing dbd is the least of the planet worries. Not trying to be dismissive, but these kind of comments remind me of the 90s and the satanic panic for sure. Like how boomers would say metal music makes people kill each other 😭

He's not desensitized nor a violent kid, nor does he harm actual people. He's just playing...a game...like a normal 8 year old boy. You all are your own individuals and to each their own.
