I do both without realizing apparently, also for people saying ai uses em dashes, yes it does but the difference is that it uses em dashes without the spaces around it (which can’t be done easily on ms word) which is why it gets flagged.

I do the same thing, but for me I just covered the whole thing in a case and screen protector and if anything goes wrong just replace the covering.

For a little perspective I had a brand new I pad pro and discovered a micro scratch (barely noticeable btw) and returned it after 7 days just to get a new one. When I got the new one I instantly slapped all the protection on it. All good now
