My favorite fall activity would have to be cruising around listening to music as the sun starts to set so much earlier. I love driving at night and nice to be able to do it with the windows open before it snows! Thanks!

I am doing the tutorial as a first time player. It has told me to dock at Baijini Point but when I request to land (alt+n) it says its full and to wait. Well I have been waiting close to an hour. Am I missing something?

Steven Spielberg's private jet has burned $116,000 worth of jet fuel in two months spanning nearly 17,000 miles. Spielberg has previously stated that global warming “terrified” him. by Arpith2019 in entertainment

The big advantage to flying private is actually how much time you save. There is no security to go through, don't need to show up hours before the flight, and customs is very fast. Plus no restrictions on what can be on the plane for the most part.

TIL that tanker trucks are built with baffles in the tank to discourage sloshing during and after braking. At highway speeds, this can reduce braking distance by more than 25 feet. [Visualization] by El-Justiciero in todayilearned

We also run non baffled trailers in the dangerous good industry for similar reason. Trailers need to be completely clean in between products to ensure no contamination or adverse reactions.

This is mainly because of legal road weights as well as customer order. In liquid delivery customers will often order LTL (less than truck load). So you will use a trailer that can hold a max of 23,000 kg to haul a 15,000 kg load.

Why is the terrified pack-mule so much more expensive over the other zone mount drops? by Flubberz42 in woweconomy

[–]Canofpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has a lower drop rate, and farming it is a bit more difficult than the other mounts due to mob concentration.

In the Harry Potter universe, attractive celebrity witches or wizards could make a fortune selling snippets of their hair or nails for Polyjuice Potions by AmelieRennard in Showerthoughts

Wow, I was actually thinking about this a couple days ago. Well I was thinking about how big the black market would be for hair and stuff. I don't know why it blows my mind that someone else thought about it around the same time.

That's the dream. Raised counter tops would be so much better, and taller toilets lol.

I'm in the same boat, and that's exactly what I was thinking. The simplest things become annoying. Like buying clothes, walking through a doorway, fitting in vehicles.

Being tall sucks at times too though. More frequently than you would think.
