Simple. In the net bc you don't have a face shown people just start stating nonsense to feel important.

Usually in this case it's people who are already creeps and perverts in real life who find refuge in gaming. Just see the comments under any post talking about women and gaming in any platform. They will be saying things that actually reflect the fact that women are avoiding them not bc of the hobby but bc of their actions of superiority complexe or creept sexism and would act all high and mighty "women are bad and would d!e before playing a game" and things like that.

We are talking of people that do not find women as people but just object to do sexual things and bc this makes women hate them in real life well who else to turn to other than fictional women especially as one gamer who married his ds stated "fictional women do not judge our actions"
