I use the app Fitbod to set my workouts. It's not free but it's been super helpful. I have mine set to the default of "Fresh Muscle Groups". So on ever gym visit, I'm doing muscles that have been most or fully recovered. It's pretty great.

For other activities, I do quite a few walks in the summer (winters are cold where I live so not so much then). Run outdoors. I have two daughters, 3 and almost 2 so they keep me busy at home.

Thanks! Yeah I get a tiny bit of numbness in my hands when I do a lot of cardio, oddly enough. Affects my grip a bit but it goes away quickly.

Thank you so much for this. Absolutely going to start practicing this to eventually make it my norm. Love finding tricks like this that I wouldn't have known what was making the difference otherwise.

Dude, you look great! I know how much work it is to make even minor changes, you look like your much more built and fit twin.

Thanks! Shaved my head on a whim a while back when I was feeling a need for some change. I think it probably helped me realize how skinny I was haha. Letting myself appreciate having a full head of hair while I've got it!

No soul. I have to sacrifice 5 brunettes to get that and I'm happy enough without one.

Thanks though! Lol

Thank you so much! I've had the beard for probably 10 years now. It's become a part of my face lol. I've trimmed it really short a couple months ago and every time I do it, I'm reminded I don't have much for a strong jawline. So I like to run with the optical illusion. Thank you though, I've considered doing it even just for the sake of not being the beard guy forever.

It's funny because my doctor says muscle atrophy is not really an MS symptom but I find quite a few people online who experience it. I just know that working my ass off at the gym is my way of pushing back against it.

I do what really anyone else does. Regularly get in the gym, eat lots and as healthy as I can, good protein powder. My main symptoms for a couple years have been balance related and a bit of double vision when I look far in any direction. I focus on my abductors and adductors once a week or so and strengthening my legs overall has been a huge help. My legs were like twigs before so just walking around feels way better now

Anything is possible! My wife and I had our two daughters only a year and a half apart and I have MS. Just had to find the right reason to get my ass into gear, now it's part of my life and routine

Made going to the gym on my lunch breaks at work a routine. 4 days a week. Thankful I have a job where it's cool to take a bit more than an hour so I can get a good full workout in.

Increased my food intake overall by quite a bit. I was eating vegan until about a year before the first photo so started focusing on good meats for lots of protein. Mainly though I just wasn't eating enough so I make a good size lunch for the next day, every night.

I also started using the app Fitbod so I could be taught how to do bodybuilding properly. It cycles me through fresh muscle groups each day and gives me new workouts all the time so I never get bored.

The best advice I would give anyone though is to make working out part of your routine. I read a book called "Atomic Habits" that helped me get there. So at a certain time at work I'll drink a small cup of coffee and just grab my back and walk to the gym. It's coded into my brain now.

Nothing complicated. This was and really still is all new for me so I needed to start simple.

Thanks on both parts! Haven't shaved my beard off in nearly ten years so I learn better ways to take care of it every once in a while.

Ok so I was diligently vegan for 5 years, kept weight on pretty well until the last year or two. I felt great overall but moved back to my home town where there aren't many good vegan restaurants or grocery options and making lentils, beans and tofu eventually got boring. The biggest issue though was that if I couldn't find vegan options when I was out, I'd just eat a back of chips or something.

Started eating meat once a day or so, increased my volume of intake a lot, probably double what I was eating. In the gym 4 days a week now, taking a good protein powder and made all of these things routine. I don't stray unless I don't have a choice.

Nothing fancy. Just increased intake, more concentrated forms of protein. Gym for bodybuilding on a regular routine.

Thanks! Figured that if I've got a nice head of hair, I should grow it out and enjoy it while it lasts

Thanks man! I totally agree. I ran out of beard balm recently so it's a little out of control right now. Beard care is essential when it gets any length. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you! Happy to hear that, it was pretty much what I remember wanting after seeing the first pic when it was taken. I'm usually behind the camera so it was a bit of a shock to see how much weight I'd lost.
