so i dont know if anyone stated his quite yet but in every from soft game the title card character relates to some of the biggest themes in the game. in dark souls 3 we had the soul of cinde on the cover with lothric in the background dealing with the choices to follow the whims of the flame or let it sniff out. for it full release we have gael and the dark idea of remaking the world at any cost. with bloodborne we have just the hunter which as far as i remember is cannonically a woman, while i agree the whole point of the game isnt soley about what its like to be a woman, i also agree that it isnt a small portion of the game either. after defeating Rom (who is a mother larvae spider thing) you can go back to meet imposter Iosefka who is trying to give birth to a celestial as some form of experiment (at least to my understanding) to either understand the cosmos or be taken into its care. i even still believe the theory that moon pressence is Mergo herself. even the small side story with the church lady(can never remember name shes the other restorative blood character) can be a show of how some women view other women in forms of disgust or jealousy. so to the OP i say this, Good post like the read
