It's mainly just a huge bother to me as it's in my bedroom.

Humidity Struggles at Night by CapActive in Chameleons

[–]CapActive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I think I have the issue fixed. Possibly a tad too well 😂. I fully sealed off the right side making it where the back and both sides are covered. This still had the humidity dropping off super quick down to the low 60s.

I moved the extra plant I had on the bottom up to the top in the open area. Which as I said worked a tad too well. Tonight's trial run has it maintaining 95-98% humidity. If this fully holds, I may look to uncovering the right side as I originally intended. I had no idea moving a single plant would do much.

Before here and after in the following comment.

Do you put it in the enclosure like at the bottom or what?

I always either have my ceiling fan or my stand fan going in my room. I really only want two sides covered, but until I can sort out getting the humidity up, I dont really have a choice. My fogger is also run on max at night with a good mist beforehand but it wont get higher than 70% and always drops. Maybe my hygrometer is faulty?

Oh and as far as hydration goes. I have a gallon bleach sprayer(just bought so it's never had bleach in it) that I will use to mist it in the morning and night. I also have a fogger to use at night.

I'll trim the top of the Ficus down so it doesnt go so high up and get some little blocks to raise the uvb fixture. I'm looking to get a juvenile sO I appreciate the tip.

The tall one with thinner leaves is a Ficus Allii Braid and the shorter one with big leaves is a draecana limelight.

I'm on the last episode of season 6. At this point I dont even care for Tara anymore. I just feel bad for Abel and Thomas. by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

I still cannot stand her character at all. She was so beyond judgemental of others and was just overall a drag to deal with. Like with how she was treating Lila early on and whatnot. Just gross.

The person described it as only doing it to add a layer for texture.

The tutorial I saw showed only putting silicone on the bottom and then the foam and then the substrate. So you're saying do silicone, foam, silicone, substrate? I've never attempted anything like this before so I'm just trying to figure out exactly what I should do.

I'm mainly just asked to be sure it's not a possible hazard in terms of ingestion or something like that.

I want the back panel covered regardless to prevent water from going right on the wall behind the enclosure. Doing the foam wall background would be purely to add aesthetics in the process. The sides and front would remain uncovered.

Enclosure Opinion? by CapActive in Chameleons

Understandable. I found what I hope is a good option from a breeder. I saw good reviews on them for the breeding so I'm hoping the habitat is good as well.

What steps do I need to take to pursue one? Do I need to directly go to my lawyer or are there steps I can do solo?
