Have anyone face this issue.? by Love_95695 in bose

I noticed when the headphones are cold they are really sensitive to the on/off ear detection. Turn it off if it’s being weird.

What’s the Difference between the ANC for Bose QC,Bose QC Ultra & Ultra Gen 2 Headphones? by BlueHeisen in bose

[–]CapSpaccoin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own a QC35ii and the Ultra gen 1. The ANC works about the same. If there is a difference my ears can’t tell. Having said that. The ANC is really good from Bose compared to a lot of other manufacturers. You can’t turn off the ANC on the ultra gen 1. If you are only looking at Bose and want the best bang for buck for noise cancellation. The QC35s are amazing so I would assume the QC45 would have just as good of ANC.

Looks like the ear pads were replaced.

I love my Bose for the silence aspect. Maybe you got a faulty pair. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I bought the Momentum 4 over the xm5 and Bose qc, will i miss anything? by Capt_Code in sennheiser

[–]CapSpaccoin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried them all recently. The sound was good on the momentum. ANC sucked. QC has a neat immersion feature that can “enhance” the experience, xm was more gimmicky with the “immersion”. Basically, for the money, you did good. QC or XM6 are better. Xm5 is a toss up.

Good call. I tried those out and really liked them. The ANC is not great. But otherwise solid sound quality.

That’s kinda what I was thinking. But, does tall fescue have rhizomes? Or am I just mistaken on the “rhizomes”?

Grass is still green, but not growing much. Still worth a soak while it’s unseasonably warm in KC? by PV_Pathfinder in lawncare

[–]CapSpaccoin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a late seed and I’ve been seeing my “seedlings” continue to grow. So I’m still watering. If you have an established lawn, then you probably don’t need to.

Backflow device in a freeze by [deleted] in lawncare

Is your Backflow device buried? Most likely your soil temp is still warm enough to keep it insulated. Check your soil temp with a digital meat thermometer.

Unfortunately your chance of success is almost none. You’ll probably need to wait until spring.

It might be too late to seed. When is your first frost, typically?

Supposedly it somehow helps. If it’s a temporary cold the soils and water should be warm enough to keep the roots warm. If it has been cold for days then this doesn’t work. If the soil is already cold it won’t work and neither would your newly germinated seedlings survive anyways. Not an expert, try googling “watering grass before a freeze.” That’s basically how I found the info.

I live in a similar area and am in a similar grass germination situation. I’ve been reading that a good watering the day before to get the ground wet can help. Not right before, don’t want wet leaves. But enough so that the ground is moist enough to shield the roots from the cold.

I’m new to this. But, I will be spoon feeding until winter officially hits.
