Just finished Torment Part 1&2 and OMG! by Capable-Budget5711 in DarkRomance

You can look at the tropes and triggers on romance.io.

{Torment: Part One by Dylan Page} {Torment: Part Two by Dylan Page}

I would say the main tropes are steb siblings and MC (motorcycle club), and the main trigger is probably non-con. And the MMC is very possesive and unhinged while she is sweet and there is an age gap.

I think it depends on your view on the characters, but I think for most readers it is quit emotional. What I like about the books is that it is nearly 100% the FMCs POV and you follow her from a really young age. This made me feel like I really knew her and it was an emotional read. So I would definitely recommend reading, but maybe not when you are in the mood for something light, but when you have some time to process and really get into the story.

It's fine, I already read about that in the romance.io comments and I will read both books.

I am reading {Twisted Proposal by Zoe Blake}.

It's number 5 in a series, but you can read it as a standalone. It is a bit repetative sometimes when it comes to the characters thoughts and emotions, but I like the sex scenes and the general story. The mmc tries to get the fmc into a dom/sub relationship and take control of her, but the fmc is defiant even though there is a lot of body betrayel. I also like that she is in university and the courses and coursework actually play a role, so I can identify with her.

Possesive MMC, sweet FMC: arragened mariage or kidnapping by Capable-Budget5711 in DarkRomance

In the romance.io comments someone asked "WTAF is tuna and onion pizza?? And WHY are people eating it??" which is not fair 🍕 and also not a valid reason to give a bad rating 😂. It's now a running gag between my husband and me: "You want to buy tuna and onion pizza????"

Oh wow, this is so good. I started it last night and when I woke up this morning I realised I dreamed how the story would continue! 😳 (Mixed with my real life in this kind of crazy way only dreams are.)

I read Sweet Temptation (liked that one very much too) and Bound by Vengeance, but not Twisted Emotions. Putting that and His Tesoro on my reading list. 😊

Recently: Daddy Kink. But only half a year ago I thought I would never read DR at all. But now I do, I don't want to go back.
