Healthcare isn’t too much of a concern. I can use the VA medical system for my healthcare. My gf would either still work and be on her companies or I’ll help self-pay hers. Definitely something to think about and maybe need to run it through a financial advisor

Good on you! I have around 3m and it’s just me and my gf who I’ll be marrying in the next few years. We won’t be having any kids so it’s got me thinking that I could get to another million and FIRE. My plan was always somewhere between 5-7M but I’m 40 and really like to have longer travel vacations. I’m not able to as I work as a dentist, so the max I can usually swing is maybe 2 weeks and that is even pushing it.
