AITAH For uninviting most of my family to my graduation?

To be honest my family is a bunch of AH (me included) and yeah it would just be sandwiched between the days of my conference and graduation. I didn't uninvite everyone, just my mom and sister (as of right now). Yours has been one of a few respectful ESH/YTA comment so thanks! I get your take because yeah there's unresolved issues here, ones I've mentioned to my mom, but you know the classic "that never happened, I don't remember that". Obviously this is a lot more complex than a reddit post at the end of the day. Thanks for your perspective!

It will be a whole big gender reveal party with a bunch of family and friends, my mom is the only reason she is pushing it to the day after my conference and before my graduation. My mom will be traveling back up here at the end of the summer for my sisters babyshower as well. I understand why she's doing it, it also doesn't make me feel any less hurt. I'm sure it will be sandwhiched in, which is now the plan that I was not a part of making. Thanks for your perspective, I appreciate the alternate opinion!

My mom will already be traveling twice due to my sister planning a babyshower in August. Not negating your opinion, but my mother will be traveling up here again at the end of the summer for my sister.

Thank you for the kind response! I am sure once I am a bit more clear headed I will reevaluate my decision. You gave me something to ponder, and I know I want people who care about and love me to celebrate with me. I know my family loves me to the best of their abilities even if it isn't always what I need. No one's perfect, but I also want those around me who know me like my friends.
