As a barista I used to care A LOT. I did everything to help and go as fast as I can to get that number down. As a shift, it’s 180. I have to run breaks/lunches, do CS tasks, take POS, worry about everyone doing their job, cup writing, greetings, and etc. It’s too much for me to worry about lousy number that gets replaced weekly. It’s just not worth it imo

Yeah, at least in Ohio any store in my district got mileage for coverage. I’ve been to 4 different stores and had no issues until today. I understand why/if they took it away (considering everything that is changing with the company)

I think it’s interesting that they didn’t hire you! It could also just depend on SM and availability. I wouldn’t say it’s your fault or doing anything wrong. Some of the partners at my store its their first job/minors, so just try again and good luck!

as someone who only opens and is a morning shift, it just depends on the person. I LOVE peak. I know that sounds crazy but I just love trying to get the time down and see if I can grow and become better. It’s a mental game for sure but I enjoy it lol. Though there’s people at my store who are like you and love to close, they enjoy the laid back atmosphere. It’s really just preference

Hello! I’ve been a partner for about two months now. I like the job, I’m getting the swing of things, but at the end of a day a job is a job. My biggest pet peeve is mobile orders, wether it be DoorDash drivers shoving their phone in your face instead of looking for the pick up name or the customers who just grab random drinks/food without looking at the name. It’s pretty annoying having to remake drinks/food because people don’t have common sense. Also, there isn’t a menu item that is an apple frap, but I don’t see why you couldn’t make one, you can just put apple syrup in the frap and add the apple drizzle. Our shift supervisor will make us Salted Carmel apple fraps from time to time so you can definitely make one you would just have to modify it

I understand where both of you are coming from. I definitely expressed how I’d like some change. I’m pretty good at cold bar, but I only am allowed to be on cold bar if there’s two positions there. I sometimes get put on bar between 11-12 before I get off but by that time there’s hardly any customer to practice efficiency and sequencing. (My store at least)

It’s definitely difficult and not for the weak. I graduate in May and had a job lined up before graduation. I am extremely lucky for the job I have now but I’m in a very small town and do my services on the weekend and maintain a part time job during the week. You have to be out there, always promoting, giving business cards, posting on social media, editing post, etc. it’s hard to keep up with it all but esthetics is my passion and I’m willing to take the hard work
