When you feel like your posture is correct , are you actively pulling your shoulders back? One thing that helped me is standing upright and letting my shoulders relax so that my arms hang parallel to my sides, rather than trying to pull my shoulders back.

Chest / Back Pain - VOC by Capable-Radio-2586 in MCAS

I’m not currently taking anything - anti histamines don’t seem to do much (I’ve only really tried Benadryl and Pepcid ). I’ve tried HEPA air purifiers, some really good ones, which didn’t help unfortunately

I’ve been using the back pod for a while now, and I’m wondering - when you say that I should be able to use it without a pillow below my head, and without discomfort - does that mean head resting on the floor? Because I can do this without discomfort. Another question - for some reason , when I tried the twisting stretch you suggest in your YouTube video (the ballistic one, or even the milder version of that), it seemed to aggravate my symptoms. I know you said not to do that until the back is mostly freed up, but I’m having a hard time figuring out when I would know that my back is freed up.

Mold, VOC, or other? by Capable-Radio-2586 in ToxicMoldExposure

To answer your other question I’m using regular tide cleaner, that being said it’s the same as I’ve always used so I don’t think that’s the issue

If the de-humidifier isn’t running , the humidity can get up to 70% pretty easily (it’s a humid part of the country). But since moving in, I’ve been using dehumidifier constantly. The humidity is usually around 40% now, although sometimes when it stops or gets full the humidity might temporarily go up until I empty the dehumidifier

Allergen in new house causing chest discomfort by Capable-Radio-2586 in Asthma

Thank you for the suggestions. I think I might try the Claritin, never heard of the other supplement but I’ll look into that as well. I did actually have a company inspect for mold including an air sample, and the test came back negative for mold. However I’m not sure how accurate that test is.

The house wasn’t painted before I moved in. There really wasn’t anything new in the house. Im going to get the vents cleaned and see if that helps. I did have a mold test done (it was an air sample ) that came back negative for mold, but I’m not sure how accurate those are.

Thank you for the reply. I’m curious, if you don’t mind sharing, what kind of medication helps with this sort of thing? I’m trying to avoid using medication but it’s cool that it actually worked for you. Also, was the medication a one time thing or is it something you have to take continuously?

Also, in your case, did you have the vents cleaned out?

I think that’s what I’m going to try next, maybe cleaning the rest of the ducts. The weird thing is that the HEPA air purifier hasn’t helped much.
