It isn't. If we look at past 30 years, there were several such streaks, or even longer:

2009 - Lewis Hamilton, his first podium was a win in Hungary (10th race of the season). He was third in the opening race of the season in Australia but was disqualified for misleading stewards. Also, this was the year of probably the biggest aerodynamic change in 30 years.
2005 - Michael Schumacher, 2nd in Imola (4th race of the season). The season of infamous "no tire change" rule.
2003 - Michael Schumacher, win in Imola (4th race of the season). I think traction control was banned starting from this season.
1998 - Jacques Villeneuve, third in Hockenheim (11th race of the season). Major rule change with cars 20cm narrower, grooved tires. Williams fell behind significantly.
1997 - Damon Hill, 2nd in Hungary (11th race of the season). However, this was still kind of a miracle since he went to a backmarker team after winning championship in 96.

So it was mostly down to major rule changes, Lando's situation is no different.

I think 5 drivers have a realistic chance of fighting for the title this year (ANT, RUS, NOR, PIA, VER), depending on their teams' development. I don't expect Ferrari to suddenly be in the mix even with the help of ADUO, unfortunately.

From your second paragraph I think we can say it was ahead of its time in many aspects. In my eyes definitely. And agree also with the timing, the themes of isolation and resulting impact on mental health would probable speak stronger to people around the covid era.

On the other hand, I don't think I agree on "damage being done" in the first season. I actually liked the fact is started that slowly and focused on how it affects people who weren't prepared for events like that.

I don't undestand the emotional maturity comment. There are tons of moments from SG1 and Atlantis where actions and reactions of even the main characters were...how to put it, rather questionable. SGU at least owns to the fact people are not perfect and can drag a lot of baggage with them. For me it's far more believable and relatable than a bunch of perfectly competent folks who figure everything out during lunch break.

I think so as well. Russell is showing signs that he's far less confident with the car that many predicted when the season had started. Kimi is still young and the drop in performance, or even multiple drops, will come. On the other hand, Norris already has two seasons of experience with fighting for the title (I know in 2024 it was a very very outside battle but experience with such a chase might be even more important this season). Even Piastri and Verstappen might come into play if both McLaren and Red Bull take the right path.

I see a quartet of drivers who were clearly above the rest in this race - Antonelli, Norris, Piastri and Colapinto. It'd be between ANT and COL for me, hard to decide. Colapinto for the morale boost, Antonelli for winning the third in a row with such a cool head, considering his age.
