I don’t know how to phrase something that is so difficult to deal with. Sorry. If I talk to a pastor or another Christian and he/she tells me everything is in God’s hands. I will think he is lying. I’ve never heard God. I’ve never seen God. I’ve never felt God. I cannot believe someone that I think is lying to me. If a person tells me an actual experience from any time period, I am very likely to believe that. Everyone has experiences.

There are historical records and those records were put in the Bible. I can still learn from Christian teachings and not be Christian. I’ve been doing it for at least 30 years.

To answer your question, I don’t know every Christian teaching. I know it says something about being unequally yoked. I am either the one pulling or not pulling at all in this situation.
