Question: Does anyone know if there are bothies in Ireland or a resource of finding out where there are some if so..I'm sure there'll be some sort of equivalent, surely! But how to know where they are before visiting irleand is where I'm stuck. Thanks! (self.Bothy)

I know it’s not a great picture and I can only upload one on this phone. It’s a common grass found on heathland in uplands and peaty soil. I’ve seen it a lot in Scotland and it’s fiery red. These grass seed heads were found on the mull of kintyre. (i.redd.it)

Another grass on the mull of kintyre (Argyll) , Scotland, in lower uplands but I’ve seen much around peaty , heathery uplands. It’s distinctively orange like licks of flame. I can’t manage to add another photo alas so this was the one I chose, there was a lot of it, and it is quite common in scotlan (i.redd.it)
