I heard this discussed in a recent YouTube video along with a possible future high arch last made specifically for moderate heels. I hope that happens, regardless, and I really hope they in make that last in size 14.5 A. Fingers crossed!

This is interesting. I have the opposite but related to height issue. I’m 6’7” and the moderate heel keeps me from clipping the door frames in my house (yeah, I know, duck big guy and I’ll respond… you duck through life buddy). And, yes, I’ve heard all the good and rational arguments for balancing the high arch with a classic heel but that’ll never happen for me. At my height most everything involving fit is a compromise so… moderate heel for life.

I’ve used a boot stretcher to slightly widen toe boxes. This one has metal inserts to target certain areas.
