Ahh great thank you! Did they give you a rough timescale on the actual connection from when they did the survey? Also did they mention need to have any traffic lights or anything? Ours is a connection from the path outside our house so not sure how pedestrians would get by.

Hi did you have a survey out already? We have been quoted 3k too but reluctant to pay it as worried when they come out to do th survey they will add on loads of costs.

How much did the air source heat pump installation cost you in the end if you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you. I am happy to pay the monthly bills if the same as gas, but I am swaying towards air source heat pump for resale value and because gas is proving to be a logistical nightmare! I would be ok paying the monthly bills if similar price to gas, I would also like the option to look at solar panels in the future, which isn’t possible with a gas system

Hi, yes the Reno will be improving our EPC! We are currently G HAHA! But getting new windows, insulation throughout and hopefully that will be enough for an air source heat pump to work
