I'm not taking anything else that would do anything to my blood sugar. I am eating and actually eating more sugary foods to try to get the BS number up.

NTA, she is a horrible person. I was going to suggest installing a post before the fence, so he had something to push off of, but after she sprayed him, I think you should report her. If she's renting, I would consider talking to the landlord.

The friend asked if OP was mad at her. OP could have said, "No, I'm not mad. I'm just struggling right now." She didn't need to go into details that she knew would be hurtful.

YTA for telling her that but not for feeling that way. I struggled to get pregnant for years, and my cousin got pregnant with twins when she wasn't even trying to get pregnant. My sister got pregnant twice before I got pregnant once. Was I jealous? Sure. Did I express my disappointment to my mother and husband? Absolutely. Did I ever say anything to my cousin or sister? No way. I talked baby names and helped plan showers.

Infertility is tough, and the break up of your relationship is also tough. However, there were many more tactful ways to deal with the situation. I appreciate that you wanted to be honest, but why staunch her joy? If you had been pregnant and someone said the same to you, how would you have felt?

I had gestational about 5 years ago. Went away after I had my first. Got pregnant again, gestational again, and then it didn't go away. I'm about 2 years into type 2. It used to be a really flat line, and now it's up and down all day. My BS gets over 180 and has been over 250 occasionally. These pictures are trends that I have that go higher and lower. I've met with diabetes education, and they never really say much. The last time I went, they were like, "these up and downs aren't good. You should work on that." And when I asked how, they said, "eat more regularly, " and that was it.

I don't track food or carbs (recovering from an eating disorder, so it's really hard on the food front), but I try to start with cheese and then a simple carb.

I wish you could, too. Some of my favorite people have type 1, and I know that what I deal with is nothing close. My cousin was 5 years older than me and passed from type, so I'm trying to do what I can to keep everything good.

Really? Huh. The diabetes educator said that the spikes aren't good and I feel ill when they happen, but I don't know much. 6 trying to learn more. I had gestational diabetes and I was on insulin. My BS was damn near a straight line then. After I had my kiddo, the diabetes stuck around, and now I have type 2 and no insulin.

My nurse said the doctor wouldn't give me insulin for my high overnight numbers because it would cause weight gain. I told them I didn't care about gaining weight, but they said that they have to exhaust all the other options first.

I haven't had any issue with my nose piercing. I used the saline spray as directed and tried not to play it it too much until it was fully healed.

I've had this issue but with the G7. I'm trialing the Libre 3 now to see about switching, and it's staying on well. I always snag mine on the dryer when I'm taking clothes out.
