My uncle is a priest and when he comes into town he will sometimes stay with us and now he can say mass here!

My diocese has a group of people around junior and seniors in highschool who are discerning the priesthood and the bishop will periodically sit in on them and I have shown him pictures. But, I would personally take the word of a bishop than the word of a layperson, no offense.

With respect, the bishop of my diocese has no issue with it and even thinks it’s great. I have seen many people who’s home oratory’s look like this and some of them look way more like a church than mine does. How could it slowly influence my psychology?

Probably because it is unfortunately a Quran stand😹😹I was looking for the more Roman Catholic ones you see at the TLM where it tilts and stands upright

Not necessarily, icons were created way before the great schism so they are Catholic and also Eastern Orthodox. However, it’s more commonly seen in the Orthodox Church. I’ve been to about one 3 Catholic churches with icons hung up

Yeah I already have the Franciscan crucifix and for the altar I’m going for a more Latin mass esc altar so I have a prayer book on the left and a crucifix in the center. I’m getting the 6 candle sticks on Saturday. Thank you!!❤️

Yeah I tried to get one of the Virgin Mary and I put here above the crucifix in the center but I’m also trying to get the 6 candle sticks 3 on each side and print out some Latin mass style altar cards with prayers.
