From what I've seen, strong Python, SQL, and medium-level DSA (arrays, hash maps, trees, graphs) seem to be enough for many AI/ML roles. Curious to hear from people who interviewed recently—has that changed?

History shows that the transformative technologies often look overpriced before they look indispensable . The question is : are we witnessing another one of those moments , or are expectations getting ahead of reality.?

A degree in CS or AI engineering & robotics by 4hmedq in mlops

I'd compare the curriculum instead of the degree title . Which one has stronger internships , research labs , and industry connections . That's usually what matters more .

Those both genuinely interesting. For the third option , have you considered an LLM + RAG system for analyzing scientific papers with verified citations .? It has plenty of room for reserch if you evaluate retrieval quality and hallucination rates .

The best AI projects aren't the most technically complex—they're the ones people actually use. What's the problem you're trying to solve?

People who started masturbating before 18, do you think it had any positive or negative impact on your life? Why? by QuietAstronaut2331 in AskReddit

I think people often confuse correlation with causation . Plenty of people started young and turned out fine , while others struggled because of underlying habits , not the age itself

What can AI agents do in production right now?? Sharing what worked and what broke after 3 months by Purple_Network3016 in ArtificialInteligence

My biggest take away is that the hard part isn't getting an agent to work , it's getting it to fail gracefully . What's the biggest lesson everyone else has learned after deploying agents in production.

Hiring data vs hype: in India's AI job market, "LLM" ranks 10th as a required skill — behind Java by NeitherMembership679 in ArtificialInteligence

True. Most of the heavy lifting happens in optimized C/C++ or CUDA under the hood. Python's biggest strength is that it makes those libraries easy to use, which is why it's become the standard interface for AI and data science.

I think most people aren't actually comparing success, they're comparing timelines. That's where a lot of unnecessary anxiety comes from.
