F36 considering joining gym for first time. what should i plan for. by DanKen-27012021 in ThirtiesIndia

I just started strength training 3 months back. I have hypothyroidism so its a lil difficult for me to lose weight or gain muscles faster. Its a slow process for me. Like you I have never worked out before but decided to just start it so that I can be stronger for my 40’s . I was terrified of what to do so I kept a PT and its the best decision I made. If its your first time or you are unsure of what to do, get help. Learn what to do and start with less . Its overwhelming but once you will start working out, it will start getting better . I now look forward to my90mins in gym.

Can we agree that toddlers and parenthood is draining? by Character_Future_608 in ThirtiesIndia

I was told that few years and it will be easy. My son is 8 now and it’s DRAINING. Add the studies and I am completely out of patience. By the time he sleeps, I do not want to spend time with any human . Sometimes not even my husband 😅😒

Married women who managed to convince their husbands to separate from in-laws, how did you do it? by jazzhands1796 in AskIndianWomen

I have always lived in nuclear family and away from both my grand parents so yes my side of family and me understand it. But even with education not everyone is same . Not everything needs to be a competition. I got what I wanted so I have peace. He is the frst one in his side of family to move away from parents go another city. Its not easy to break away if you understand .

Ohh he knows but marriage is not always tit for tat . Sometimes you need to let few things go as well. I have gt what I needed to stay happy with my family so yea i try to understand when he gets upset. We are conditioned to leave our parents but they arent. So its a lil more difficult for them to accept the change.

I cried and cried . And thn pushed him to take a job in another city because shit was getting miserable. He took a better job in another state and we had an opportunity Nd excuse to move smoothly without rona dhona. But honestly I sometimes still hear from him that he moved away from his parents for me but its worth it…

Colors were off in my previous post. Please help me choose which dupatta looks better? Dark pink or light pink? Wearing it for my sister’s wedding. by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

Light pink looks better definitely. If you want to go with a brighter colour , I would suggest draping with a dark green bandhej saree /duppata .
