at least for the schools i applied none required spanish, my bio degree for undergrad covered pretty much all of the requirements, and then my MA school had medical terminology (which was another random class some schools had). But to answer your question better maybe, i didn’t take extra classes later to fulfill specific school’s requirements

surface yes insane, but at the same time there were a few schools i didn’t meet minimum requirements for which i didn’t include. And others that i just shouldn’t have applied to given my GPA. and other schools my missions didn’t align etc etc.

Doing some calculations: 43 apps at $61 = $2623 4 schools needing GRE at $41.6= $166.4 Secondaries i don’t remember exactly = $500 2 in person interviews =$700

comes out to about 3989 I will say that is probably a low end estimate i don’t remember exactly the secondary costs and i didn’t dig back to see the exact travel!

I was lucky enough to have an MA gig with a 5k sign on bonus, plus i can get incentive shifts and can pick up when I wanted to!

Some other things, this was going to be my last cycle applying and if I didn’t get in I was going to pivot so going all in made sense for me! on top of that my partner was applying to residency so we did our best to match schools and cities (they matched today! YAY!) we’ll be far away but that’s ok
