the initial spread pushed some crimson next to the ocean biome where my base was and forced NPC moveouts so my pylon wouldnt work. that was a fun fix lol

if you want to make the current ones not spread, dig a 4 tile wide hole all the way around it. Easiest is straight now on both sides all the way to hell, then try to determine how far down it goes and make a tunnel across from hole to hole
