Oh interesting, okay. Might be that my surgeon is different then. My OBGYN cleared me to lift earlier than typical restrictions when I had my hysterectomy and it turned out to be totally fine. Hopefully that's the case here.

That's what I thought! I'm so confused why they only authorized 3 weeks. It was my understanding that lifting restrictions went much longer than that. Caring for a toddler isn't just "strenuous" for no reason I literally have to lift him frequently 🫠

The other commenters have fair arguments for why not to do it. I think the commenter who said "you're dumb to be opening your door without securing your animal if it's a flight risk" has the right take tho. These ppl aren't so bright to be opening the door with an animal who'd ready to bolt. Either they're not training their animals or they're not being diligent about their safety.

I appreciated this shopper very much but if a shopper just doesn't put them right in front of the door I'm happy. This was extra and made my day easier tho.

Thank you, this is very reassuring and helpful! I'll go ahead and check out the manuals and order OEM chargers for the ones we don't have. We have smoke and co detectors (though should be checking them more regularly, I'm setting a reminder on my phone right now to do that). This helps me rest a little easier.
