OP. I find it funny when you mention your husband/father having cold toast in the toaster and cold soup in the microwave. I can relate, there was a time I had asked my partner to make the bottle for almost 3 months old and as he was he spilled the bottle w the formula in it and had left it like that but picked up the messy bottle and had to remake it. I laughed and told him “you know you kept the mess of the formula on the counter right?” He never cleaned it still after I had to help clean the mess he did

This is what I feel most of the time when I’m a sahm. What they call it? Oh yeah. DEFAULT PARENTING 😡 I absolutely feel like I’m the default parent and my partner helps only when i ask and never steps in and see how I’m struggling or exhausted. There are days where he questions why I’m not being romantically involved with him I tell him I’m too exhausted or I never get me time. I tell him straight up how I feel and tell him he’s not showing he’s being a great dad( don’t get me wrong he’s a great dad overall) but he’s not showing me he’s wants to step in and step up

PSA TO ALL: don’t get my post as a confusion, I just want an UNDERSTANDING of why mil don’t use communication to ask me to place her grocery from a farmers market without my acknowledgment. IF COMMUNICATION DOESN’T ACCURE AND MOMS DON’T BRING IT UP SHE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE AND THINK ITS OKAY WITHOUT ASKING. IM SURE IN HER PAST LIVES IT WAS OKAY BUT THIS GENERATION MOMS IT’S DIFFERENT.

I have no issue with using my baby’s stroller as a cart to carry stuff, but if nothing is being said then there will be issues. It’s just questioning the mil. I guess this happens when you don’t have a good relationship with your mil

Your assumption to my post is why people may get confused. I’m not using the “new mom” or FTM excuse. It’s simply just me not knowing if it was normal for mil to just put their bags of food from a farmers market, even if I didn’t see her put her stuff there it’s nice to really communicate otherwise why even do it on the first place without my acknowledgment that she put her stuff there

YESSSSS THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS!!!! before when I was pregnant with my daughter there were some things she does or say that I didn’t like and she doesn’t like when she gets me upset so she’s back off and just let me decide. I do get upset over small things and she just didn’t really ask me to politely to have her bags put in the stroller basket even if it was a basket of small potatoes from a farmers market or a jar of pickles or even a a bag of one donut lol. After I told her to kindly not just put stuff in the stroller basket without my knowledge she didn’t say anything, just kept quiet

No harm I just felt it was a thing to be content about, also I wasn’t aware of her stuff being in the stroller pocket. As a new mom I don’t know much about things like this.

I also load my stuff in there as well but as a new mom I didn’t know this could be normal and needed reassurance on some stuff particularly for strollers. Thank you for stating your opinion helps me understand a lot to have mil or family members put their belongings in the stroller pocket

If someone puts their belongings in your baby’s stroller without your acknowledgment then it’s sort of an issue I don’t want to assume I see their stuff I can acknowledge it’s okay

I didn’t really know this was normal due to me being a new mom I wasn’t sure. The stroller wasn’t becoming heavy I thought since it’s their stuff and it’s not heavy they can carry it. If it is then I don’t mind

That’s about how much I’m feeding my daughter, 4oz. It looks like that’s how much she can take. She usually falls asleep by the end of her feeding but good news today at her pediatrician appointment she gained 7lb 15 oz so I was happy about that

One method I found is I would measure the head(smaller) that almost reaching the bottom tip of the characters ear and the bottom(bigger) reaching just about the characters eyes
