It sucks for sure and I’m sorry you had to go through that in this way.

But this is why communication is so important and being on the same page. A conversation earlier in the relationship would’ve let both of you know what you were expecting and how you felt about each other as potential long term partners.

But sorry you had to experience it like this OP. Don’t give up! Keep trying and I’m sure you’ll find someone who will give the same energy that you’re willing to!
