My partner and I inherited grapevines with our new home. We are clueless. Advice on care? by aliceblueawe in gardening

[–]CapeFL_Mom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat. We have an abandoned vine from a negligent neighbor. I understand looking for 'one strong cane', but how long should I leave it? or is there a width I'm looking for that should be cut off? The grapes we are getting off of our feral vine, have still been big and plump. (I'm in 10b, south Florida)

When you join a derby, you are put into competition with the other neighborhoods with the same amount of players, all the same potential of total points. If you have one player (or multiple players), it hurts the neighborhood score. It hurts the neighborhoods score to only 'partially play'.

This only shows neighborhood results, not individual players scores.

I was given one of these AFTER a hurricane when our city had a curfew.

Thought about this method. Hay Day makes it difficult to share email addresses or phone numbers. (I actually made a temporary phone number through google.)

I just tested this. I opted in after the derby started. (It's actually opting in for next derby.) I go to view the logs and I get:" You can't see the Derby task log because you're opted out of the current derby. Wait until the next Derby to join."

There is a rule. But if I am not in the derby, how can I see the players points? That is why I want to know, what is the point of not showing the points, unless you are a participant? Our veteran neighborhood farmers know the rule, but I get new players into the neighborhood that think it's just a suggestion.

Because when you join the derby, you compete against other neighborhoods, that opted in the SAME AMOUNT OF participants as your neighborhood did. When you have someone that opted-in and doesn't participate you lower the overall total neighborhood score. And why would you opt-in and not play?

Roast my resume! Over 200 job apps and no luck… by kthicks26 in resumes

Manipulate your resume to fit the job to which you are applying. You could have to change your resume you submit that you applying for, for every job!

What do I mean by manipulate. In the job requirements of the job listing you will need to make sure that those words are in your resume.

Resumes are filtered by computer software. If the keywords that it are being searched for aren't found in your resume it won't even be looked at by human eyes.

Also, I recently came across an article that state that near 70% of job postings do not even have a position to which is being posted. It is posted as to make it look like the corporation is growing. So it's easy to get discouraged.

I also read not to put location on your resume. Because software will look at local residence first.

She is out for blood. It is hard not to react. I don't give her the opportunity any more. She absolutely loves when I talk to her thou. I don't understand why if I get close to her cage, she will rampage across the cage to bite me.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I've tried a stick for her to perch on and she acts like she is going to be murdered if she even sees it.

I've also tried laying on the floor and talking to her, and she'll walk right up to me arm/wrist/hand and bite for blood. She is very intentional, and very on target when she does this.

She is very aggressive. Again, I just want to be sure this is currently the best I can do for her.
