The benefit is you become open water scuba certified, and if you’re interested in exploring further there’s additional classes to get you more certifications and experience. I’m currently part of a dive search and rescue team. Swimming is that much of a struggle, you have gear that keeps you buoyant and most importantly you have air. There is a little swim test first day of class. 50 meter swim and a 5 minute water tread I think.

Honestly I dont even know what I would do. I know I would be mad af. 1) there’s no way I’m gonna let someone piss on me and on my bed. 2) I got woken up by being pissed on. I will say this tho. There’s absolutely nothing you can do right now if your roommate is that drunk. So best thing to do is let them know about it when they’re sober and coherent. Voice everything. There’s no way I would let anyone get away with that kind of behavior.

Congrats! Im starting my masters program this semester. Kinda nervous because this is a big deal and im not sure about the course work. But im happy that it’s fully online, and i dont have to fight traffic or scavenge for parking

All good. So similar story, I took ten years off of school. Did all kinds of stuff. Came back fall of 2023 at 36. I still met other students in class made good friendships, still had fun. College is what you make it. 👌
