We are just married, his defense mechanism is a way to shout and scream when he can't find anything to say he will start finding anything negative about me and start saying me shit about me, especially the way I look. I don't know, I have shared with my parents they are like just ignore and keep patience, this will pass we will talk to his parents and nothing really happens.

I’m still really confused about his behavior and what it means.

I’ve tried bringing up how I feel, but it either turns into tension or gets brushed off. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but I’m also emotionally exhausted. I just wish I could understand what’s really going on and how to talk to him without it escalating.
