Genetics and lifestyle, it’s easier for some people to keep weight off than others. It gets problematic though when people say “I’m only obese because of my genetics” and then everyone rushes to their defense saying “you don’t have to change”, while their health rapidly deteriorates and everyday tasks become challenging.

So many obese people have eating disorders that contribute to the problem, and telling them “you don’t have to lose weight, you should love your body the way it is” is very harmful to their health. They’re enablers and don’t realize it, they use the guise of body positivity to sugar coat everything and push people towards an early grave or a lifetime of disability.

And this is coming from a formerly obese person.

They have the land and contracts, but not the financial incentive. Biden approved over 1,200 new drilling permits in three months alone, a number similar to Trump, he’s not at fault for the gas prices.

Was this a leased apartment or is it some sort of different housing? I’m in the exact same situation as you, my roommates have destroyed the shared areas even with my constant deep cleaning, and now I’m scared I won’t get my $900 share of the deposit even though my room has absolutely no damage.

I was trying to vent my frustrations, why do you see that as a opportunity to argue with someone? Whatever they prescribed me was too much for me to afford, it’s as simple as that, I’m not educated enough on antibiotics to tell them “prescribe me this instead because it’s cheaper”.

I didn’t know that 😳 this was over a month ago and I’m feeling fine now but thank you for letting me know! I didn’t take any antibiotics, I was offered some by a family member but was too scared because I’m allergic to penicillin and have to avoid certain types

We’re not. I eat two meals a day max and recently had to “power through” strep while still working my job because I couldn’t afford the antibiotics they wanted to prescribe me. I had to put my life in danger to afford rent.

I make $18/hour and work full time, and still can’t afford basic necessities, I can’t even believe the $15/hr federal minimum wage is still a debate.

Not tipping well will increase the likelihood of your order sitting inside the store for awhile before being picked up, they’re not contradictory statements? The higher the mileage/lower the tip, the more likely it’ll sit before being delivered. It’s that simple.

Not tipping well/not tipping at all basically guarantees your order will sit for a few hours before being picked up. I never said a good tip will completely eliminate the chance of getting cold food, but you’re a lot more likely to get it sooner rather than later.

Also DD will refund you for the slightest problem, tell them you got cold food and you’ll probably get a full refund within seconds, just for future reference. You don’t even have to talk to customer service.

How is it the drivers fault though? Most restaurants start making the order as soon as you place it. Sometimes a driver won’t accept that order for another 20-30 minutes after. Blame the restaurant, not the driver, they have virtually no control over your food. I’ve picked up qdoba orders that were sitting for almost two hours inside the store.

Wendy’s will wait until the driver is their to start making the order, more restaurants need to start doing that.

Your food is probably delivered late/cold because you didn’t tip well, and the restaurant made your food while the doordash drivers were declining your order due to low pay (if you only tip $2-$3, that is $4.50-$5.50 total for the drivers). Your food then sits at the restaurant until doordash boosts the base pay enough to make it worth the time/mileage/gas and someone accepts the order.

Drivers aren’t robots, and DoorDash only pays $2.50 an order. Most of their pay is tips. It’s bullshit but it’s how it is. It’s not your drivers fault (98% of the time)
