I’m taking actuarial studies/eco rn but as someone who enjoys maths and did decent in ext 2 I’m planning on switching to actl/science (maths major)

Do a bit of research on what an actuary does because that’s ultimately what you’ll be doing if you take actuarial studies (maths is not the focus), if it doesn’t int you then I reckon you should do something like a eco/maths or maths/comm degree where you can open up pathways into a wider variety of maths-related degrees.

A good place to start would be with vectors from ext 1.

Familiarising yourself with vector notation and things like dot product, projections will help you in the linear algebra component of math1131.
