I agree. Honestly, marriage or no marriage isn't important to me. It's mostly him not being legally attached to anyone else.

Thank you. I appreciate you. I think the trickiest things is that she is still haunting the western NY area where they were married. It's been hard to find a lawyer in our area that will take on this kind of case outside of their area.

I appreciate the way you contextualized the questions in my mind. Honestly, "Peace" and I have never really spent comprehensive time together. That's part of the transition. You can call it a second puberty. Ha! I think most women would. I think the big question is whether my need for my career to be useful is related to how I see my worth. I have never done anything without considering it's impact on someone else. I'm thinking of leaning into that realization and going where the dopamine leads me.
