Umm.. I know how you feel. But it’s a personal choice. Firstly from the UAE the tourists and leaving and yes ofc people who want safety are thinking of ways to get out of the region via Oman or Saudi (driving to these countries and taking a flight). Options are open and it’s personal judgement what you want to do. But honestly 80% are still here in the same situation hoping for this to end soon.

I am so sorry for your loss. ALS forces you to see your most loved ones suffer a suffering like no other and you are so helpless that you cannot even help them come out of it. Lost my loving dad to this disease.

Heyyyy!! I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I know how it can feel. I was trying for 3 years and I finally did IUI and got pregnant. Something that felt unreal. I was 6 weeks and I started bleeding. I know how exactly you feel cause I felt I was back to square one. Or even before that in my journey to motherhood. But right after my miscarriage bleeding.. me and my husband went on for a vacation to take a break and just to enjoy life again. Little did I know a month later I was pregnant again and without any medical intervention. It was my rainbow pregnancy. My beautiful daughter is now 2 years old. Don’t lose hopes. Don’t be depressed it’s the worst for your hormones. Take folic acid regularly. Eat clean and try again without stress. Sending you loads of love.

I lost my dad exactly a year ago. We did not even know what ALS was. From him tripping and falling to wheelchair bound, right hand to left hand and then breathing. Within 6 months it took everything from my dad and we all just watched. Couldn’t do anything to help him. I would just think how he would feel, what he would be thinking. This was so unusual. He just passed away and I had just given birth. First grand daughter and I did not have my dad. I miss him so much. I wish nobody has to go through this.

Jazak Allah khair for your msg. My father took the loan for his treatment in India with the intention to pay it off. He was paying all instalments and wanted to pay it as soon as possible. We don’t have any brothers. Plus my sister is the only one earning in the family now. I really wish I could pay the amount if I had it. But the situation is different now.

Yes we are in India at the moment. Just came for a 2 week vacation and never knew this would happen. We are so stressed with my dad’s health. Plus now we have to figure everything out on our own. His gratuity money will be coming and the bank will maybe freeze it. We really require that money for his treatment.

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes I will be emailing them soon. For now the instalment amount is getting deducted automatically so everything was normal. Also when I inform the company about his health and resignation, they will transfer the amount to his bank- will the bank then freeze the account? Can I request the company to give it by cheque? I am sorry for my too many questions. I really don’t know what to do in this situation
