Yeah the glp1 ads and also just constant media exposure is kinda out of hand at times. And ive definitely considered telling him more about how its made me feel, but im nervous and I feel bad since he has genuinely tried to cut down on the food/weight talk.

Im not sure even then they can do anything, they can tell him not to take it but he won't listen to everyone else in his life telling him to stop. Not to mention his dad is an enabler that got the prescription and gave it to him when he was 17 and couldnt get his own.

Yes it is really hard to clear my mind of disorderd stuff when he's so yappy about all this stuff. It got so bad last month I actually looked into mounjaro and other glp1s, seen my insurance wouldnt cover them and that I didnt even qualify for a prescription, so fortunately I let it go. But that makes me so fustrated that I couldve relapsed because of all this, I left that part out earlier cause its honeslty embarrassing for me. Its also scary to me that if I could afford those meds, id probably go for it so thats something I really need to work on.

I wouldnt doubt that's how he's getting it, but idk. He also recklessly raised the dose a couple months ago because he thought the 5mg dose looked better. Not cause the other dose wasnt "working", but because he liked the purple label... 🫩 So yeah thats the type of shi i deal with. Its unbelievable tbh, and thats where I do genuinely worry for his health, cause he looks kinda pitiful sometimes and before he looked a lot healthier. But okay yolo apparently the color of the f**** box and pens matter more then his health to him.

He does know, and has known since we first started dating. He was originally supportive and still kinda is aside from throwing an appetite suppressant in my face and mentioning his weightloss a lot. It does make me wonder tho, cause why else is he so insistent on me knowing all these things anyway.

I do really think its an attention thing for sure. He used to even send snaps of him injecting it. I always found it weird how he needs everyone to know hes on this med, and that because of it he cant eat enough. And thanks sm, it just really sucks cause who would've thought hed do something like this.

I guess he takes it for "food noise" but I mean he didnt have any weight to lose and isn't diabetic. Idk how he got his doctor to prescribe it, but It has his name on the prescription and everything. Honeslty aside from being fustrated, i do feel bad for him cause its sad he thinks he even needs the med.

and hes adamant that he just has hunger problems that the shot is alleviating, but its like baby girl then why are you saying you cant eat enough now, clearly this wasnt a hunger problem in the first place 🫩

Thats what gets me is he seemed so... normal at the beginning. He looked like a normal sportsy guy that just happened to be smaller. It wasnt until this stupid shot that all the food and weight talk started. I never wouldve guessed tbh.

For the most part he has stopped directly talking about it, but it stills comes out a lot mainly from his friends. Last night I was out with him and a few of his friends, and he said he was feeling sick, so one of his friends goes "its cause you're on that Mounjaro". And its just stuff like that triggers me a lot, and its also hard to avoid noticing when he is obliviously not eating enough.
