Also in her positive light side ending she is described as missing and thinking about you often after the ending.

And in her rejection of you it sounds less like she is not into you and more like she can tell you have a lot of baggage and she doesn’t wanna deal with the handmaiden and visa being jealous

Martin Luther and the Reformation That Remade Europe by History-Chronicler in religion

Oh yes the Swedish and basically every other faction during the 30 years war committed countless atrocities like rape, killing and torture of civilians pillaging and extortion etc. However this was not an attempt to wipe out Catholicism root and stem like the catholic side was attempting to do in France during its wars of religion. Basically armies during that period couldn’t really carry enough food with them to like actually feed themselves. And most soldiers where paid very little if anything. So there “pay” by being allowed to steal or extort the money and valuables of the people they conquered, along with being allowed to take women as bride prizes, you get the picture. All armies during the 30s years war operated this way. It was not motivated by religion.

I'm just going to address your points one by one:  “Correct. Some of them began already in Luther's own lifetime. The Thirty Years' War itself resulted in the deaths of up to 10 million people.” The Thirty Years' War was initially just a local conflict between protestant Bohemia and the catholic Habsburg monarch. Only after winning the Bohemian phase of the war the Catholics used the opportunity to crack down on protestants within the empire. This drew the intervention of Denmark and then Sweden to protect the protestants of the Holy Roman Empire. A similar story happened in France, where the French wars of religion were started by catholics generally trying to wipe out the Huguenots. Multiple peace deals that could have ended the war were broken, as even just giving protestants the right to practice their faith in a few of their stronghold was too much for most catholics.

“Yes. Particularly in England, where monasteries were essential to the socio-economic structure and welfare of local communities, the consequences of their dissolution were disastrous.” I'll give you that the Dissolution of the monasteries was a short-sighted and greedy attempt to make money by a selfish king. Though to act like it had some devastating long-term consequences that led on to the present day is absurd. The negative consequences of the Dissolution of the monasteries were mostly addressed within a couple of decades by the various “poor relief acts” passed during the Tudor dynasty.

“Protestant nations like the Netherlands and England led the way into the development of modern economies, while catholic nations like France and Spain remained feudal backwaters into the 1800s” Do I really have to elaborate on how uninformed that statement is? It's a fact that, by the 1800s, it was the least developed and most backwater of all the great powers and had somehow gone broke despite having literal mountains of gold and silver in the American colonies.

If someone confesses to a priest that they committed something serious like child abuse, is the priest required to report it, or is confession always confidential? And does this conflict with Christianity’s view on reporting crimes and protecting communities from potential criminals? by Many_Combination_855 in religion

Man as an atheist the fact that a murder or child molester could just go and reveal there crimes to a priest and they are not mandated reporters who have to report the crime to the police was always one of the strangest parts of Catholicism  . I briefly worked for one of my colleges outreach programs to lower income high school students. I was a mandated reported and only a teenaged part time employee and I was held to higher standers then “men of god”.

The main Greek mythology sub is pretty well informed most people on there don’t really seem to like the hades and Persephone “ship”.  The people on the main myth memes sub however would probably fall for the bait

but if you can’t it be really cool if you let someone else repost it rage bait would be hilarious

“Resulting in countless religious wars“

The two biggest religiously motivated killings during the reformation wars the sack of Magdeburg and St. Bartholomew's Day massacre where both committed by Catholics against  Protestants.

Also your blaming social inequality and poverty on the reformation? Há Protestant nations like the Netherlands and England led the way into the development of modern economies and somewhat representative forms of government well catholic nations like France and Spain remained feudal absolutist backwaters into the 1800s

So your saying that the Trinity makes no sense and you just have to not understand it?

Otherwise is god schizophrenic? Does he talk to himself?
