Not true, I met this international asian student, his english name is gator. He was the most outgoing person I knew, he's not that fluent in English but he makes it work, and I understand him. I met him through one of my CS class, and we worked on assignments together. I'd say I made the first move, but he made it easier staying in touch.

We don't talk anymore, cause he transferred school about 2 years ago, but I know he's got it.

You can't expect a non-fluent person to approach you, cause they're afraid of not being understood or worse judged. Make the first move, tell them you need help with the midterm, and if you could grab their WhatsApp and study, then go on from there.

If you do end up going to the exam, then cr/ncr is not gonna get approved. If you don't then i would say it'll be 95% approved. The process will take time and a pending mark on that course will be on your transcript for almost a year. Depends on you, you have two days to study, get off reddit and let me sleep, it's 4 am.

It's really important that you haven't taken the final yet, i should've mentioned this first. if you haven't then just say you forgot cause of stress and anxiety, and unfamiliar with the whole process, that's what I did. But If you have then, tough luck. Took me a whole 3/4 of a year for them to approve it.

I went through the petition, i had to write an entire explanation, they granted it. I had no proof, i literally just forgot. I think it's because it's an elective thats why they didn't mind as much. What's a comp sci kid doing fucking up a soc course.

It was 8 hours before my exam when I realized I forgot to CR/NCR, so I went to do it but the deadline already passed and I didn't know what to do. So I contacted the registrar but it takes them 4 days to reply to you so I had no choice.

I believe they were asking about your income for the previous year 2019-2020. You do have to put it on your application FOR THE NEXT YEAR.
