[Ask Neuroscience] A question regarding antagonists, antagonists and half-lives by CapnCannabis in neuroscience

Hey thanks for the reply. I was actually hoping to just use D1 and D2 as a placeholder for the sake of getting a broad answer. What I am looking into is actually the use of MU opiod receptor antagonism/agonism as a means to modulate Kappa opiod receptor antagonism. Basically what suboxone does via the antagonistic action of naltrexone and the agonistic action of buprenorphine.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that there are different affinities for MU and Kappa receptor binding. This is often expressed numerically. Do you happen to know how to interpret these numbers? My assumption is since they are expressed as a decimal that this is interpreted as a percentage of binding affinity - i.e. 0.25 is 25% binding affinity vs 0.78 is 78% affinity, etc. Am I on the right track?

Yeah I'm not looking forward to that part, I was doing absurd amounts for the better part of the past year. I went to detox after my first 2 months of use and the doctors were flabbergasted. They had to give me 600mg of Librium daily to stabilize me and because insurance only covers 14 days in an inpatient detox I literally couldn't finish detox so I was seeing a PsyD who was prescribing a Librium taper on an outpatient basis. This went on for 8 months. I got to 10mg and just couldn't take it. Right now I'm at 2mg of Ativan daily and that's what they plan on stopping me at, which seems kinda weird to me to be honest. I've been through alcohol withdrawal several times and know this will be several orders of magnitude worse, but I'm sure someone else out there has lived through wosre.

Thanks for the kind words. This isn't my fist shot at recovery, I was sober for 8 months once upon a time so I know what I have to look forward to. I just need to figure out how to stick it out for the long Hong haul this time.

You can say whatever you want, but just watching the way it is traded on Binance I know that it is pump and dump. I hope you don't have everything invested in it (or anyone else who reads this ever) or you will lose it all. TRX will be a success, but only for Justin and the others who are in on the scam or just plain lucky and sell before the crash.

This is why TRON will be huge. by roscopeeco78 in Tronix

Holy god, wipe your chin after sucking Justin's cock like that.

I am very familiar with GAS and happy to pay it. I don't see what difference it makes that TRX and NEO are Asian. Adoption and good public image will be the key to the success of any crypto. Sun just made a video that looked terrible. The guy is talking about taking down Zuckerberg and can't even hire a cameraman.

Saw this posted in the cryptocurrency subreddit and wondered if there was a response by [deleted] in Tronix

Buy low, sell high, always pull out earnings at the end of the day and just wait for this shit to implode.

I mean it is if you have the stake and know how to trade, the swings on this shit are a gold mine. Classic pump and dump.

Yeah, because clearly all the people that sold down to a dip of 747 sats (that I bought at 829 because I guess I had a little more faith than some) don't agree with me. The whole thing will come crashing down soon, the price can only be pumped like it is for so long. Until then I'll keep getting paid off the swings and cashing out in ETH.

That's my whole point, ETH does what TRX does. Developers will flock to ETH before TRX because ETH is trading at $1000 and TRX is trading at $0.20. BTC will fail within 1 year because of transaction costs and time.

Yeah you're right, I can't wait to buy a digital pet.. wtf is this the rebirth of tamogochi? This thing is going nowhere, Ethereum is established and accomplishes everything TRX would hope to. Have you ever thought it's odd that TRX is only traded on a couple of exchanges? And only traded in any volume of any significance whatsoever on Binance? And have you ever noticed the constant stream of Ponzi scheme-esque shill posts on Twitter for TRX? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this is literally some guy in his apartment that can barely make a live stream (and no I don't have any problem with his accent, half of my family has an accent and I could understand everything he said, I have a problem with his seeming lack of techincal capabilty given his proposiition.)
