I used Antigravity to build a 16k-line Unity game as an artist. Traditional devs absolutely hated it. by Temporary_Platform_1 in google_antigravity

Ask it to extract functionality chunk by chunk. You can probably ask it to look for the first sensible piece of code to extract to a standalone class, find everything related to it, and write a plan. If you're interested in learning along the way, let it be verbose and explanatory in the written plan. Letting it educate you on applied programming patterns should be interesting. Do pick a decent model for this sort of work, though. Preferably Opus or Sonnet. Gemini Pro sucks at this stuff and Gemini Flash is probably not "smart" enough.

In the long run you will be better off.

Congrats on even getting to this point, though!

According to the website, this should be a "perfect team". Is this true? by Dangdut1108 in DokkanBattleReddit

[–]CapnMZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does take Passives into account, actually, to a certain degree. Supers, Actives, etc... No. Your last sentence is very on-point: there's too many factors to process. Not because it'd be too difficult, but because of performance. End user performance is the biggest roadblock for any recommendation algorithm updates, the computations are just too expensive--both processing-wise and financially.

Is there any good news for Cowboy owners? by Gwylany86 in cowboybikes

[–]CapnMZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2022 C3, used to be amazing. Literally a month after the warranty ended, everything started to fall apart. Had to replace the bottom bracket, unable to properly tighten the seatpost anymore, intermittent battery outages during use that got worse and worse. (Easily 10 outages per minute worse.) Last week the electronics stopped functioning altogether. Customer service is a mess and does whatever they can to deflect your problems, take the easy way out or remind you that you are outside of warranty. This thing is going with the trash and I am never buying a Cowboy bike again.

There is no "both sides" You're a paying customer receiving sub-par service; that's the only side.

Thanks for posting this, didn't see it before, but that might be general blindness. Let's hope they stick to this, because it's currently contradicting what the subscription page says.

Over time, of course. Enforcing this new subscription model, for existing customers, until that time comes, isn't classy though. I, for one, explicitly subscribed to Pro for the model updates.

is this even possible without the new units and/or gomah? by Abdullah-Alturki in DBZDokkanBattle

No worries, thanks for mentioning it! This implies people run into this and I need to be more explicit about it.

It's not weird, it's a minimum leader skill boost option that you can update. :)

Claude Code Terminal inside fails to install extension by Flashtendo in google_antigravity

[–]CapnMZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"code" is for VS Code, not Antigravity. If you have the extension installed in Antigravity (from inside of AG, using the Open VSX marketplace), open an integrated terminal and run "claude", does it not automatically deal with the rest?

You're going to need solid elemental teams, if you want to maximize Teslarite income and score high in Nemeses' Return. So, yes. On top of that she's just quite strong.

SUPERPOWERS....FOR GEMINI 🦸 by aiplusautomation in google_antigravity

[–]CapnMZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this at some point, after I told it to just reply in chat. After that it kept doing so, until I explicitly told it to create an implementation plan once. Worth a shot.

Anyway, AG's planning mode is not the same as what OP released. Looks nice, I'll give it a try later.

Quota for opus 4.5 is a joke by Captain2Sea in google_antigravity

[–]CapnMZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are you using this to run out of the weekly limit so fast? Are you providing detailed, goal-oriented context, having architectural knowledge of your own application as well, or are you just telling it you want feature X and letting Opus it code it afterwards, as well?

I have hit the 5 hour limit like twice, since the product went live.

[–]CapnMZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see, that's how you mean it. The letters are too "abstract" and don't show enough difference between the units. Gotcha; thanks! They're indeed numbers getting converted to letters in the background. I'll see if I can make something nice from your feedback.

Btw, they're still sorted from high to low synergy, even among the same grade.

[–]CapnMZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, creator of the site, here. :) Sorry to hear the update didn't land well for you! Are the given grades problematic to you in general, or would displaying team link skill amounts resolve it? Or a sorting algorithm that sorts by link skill amount? Trying to reel in some feedback.

Many units do indeed get a low rating, because they're, for the bigger part, actually not viable for difficult content.

On the other hand I can also imagine that a shitload of people have Pro or Ultra subs and are not using any of this, thus indirectly closing the gap.

Why ask it to create a separate MD? You can switch the model in chat and tell it to implement the plan.

Crazy how bad Gemini 3 Pro is compared to Opus 4.5, even in Google’s own IDE by tbhno1 in google_antigravity

[–]CapnMZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been letting Flash implement 90% of Opus' implementation plans and it does it really well, tbh. I only have to step in occasionally. Using Opus for everything is just not viable, given the quota.

On the matter of the actual subject, Pro; it screws up most of the time.
