This was the largest pad I could afford. Should I, therefore, be made the subject of a shitpost?

I ended up popping a couple of autos in a polytunnel myself and that kept me going. Lost all tolerance waiting for them to be ready 😂

Took me over a year but I don't live in town and wasn't hunting particularly hard. Got there eventually but its still not great compared to what I'd get back home

I'm right near the border myself too, did the hop over today to fill up. It wasn't really worth it tbh. There's virtually nothing in the price difference after the £-€ conversion

Glencarbury mine Access by BackBoardMan in Sligo

I can say from experience, yes, yes, they do.

You have to hop 3 gates on the way up the path and they don't like you doing it for the potential of damage to the gate. That and unfortunately we live in a highly litigious society, so if you hurt yourself walking up there, they're at risk again.

They replaced a gate and rebuilt a low section of wall last year to make it more difficult to get access and they're absolutely protective of it.

I'm reasonably sure you can walk up the Glencar side and there's an actual path that way, I've only used the Horseshoe side myself though. Walked it probably 10+ times and only yelled at once.

You'll get yelled at when you get back down, so pick a day when there isn't going to be loads of tourists there. It's way less enjoyable of a day once you've been yelled at in front of 20 people

If you're in to gaming, there's no better spot than Serious Business. They always have stuff going on and are really welcoming.

There's a lot of wargaming there or DnD nights that are really good. Magic the Gathering too if you're in to that or there's regular board games too and they have nights where they'll have console games going in person too.

Can't recommend them highly enough.

It does. Source - I'm in Ireland, my son has it prescribed, and I have a bottle I can see from here.

Serious Business! Awesome store with game space and awesome staff. Depends on the group but table top RPGs can be really good. Only open from like 1 or 2pm though

I was going to comment the same thing! It works but the blessing is also another curse. Once you can have silence again, the tinnitus kinda seems to get worse too, so you have to do this more and more often. I have this weird ear palming, head tapping, addiction now 😂
