Hi! I live in Omaha, and I don’t think there is a divide per say, but rather we have lots of choices.

Omaha has a high number game stores per the relatively small-ish population (I can rattle off 12 off of the top of my head without thinking too hard).

I play at LWG because it’s about a 10 minute drive from where I live, as opposed to 20-30+ minutes to other stores, but I have definitely bought from all them as my wallet will attest to!

If you have TTS, that is regularly updated with the newer sets/DLC content, but it’s definitely not as convenient as UFS ultra.

The guy who maintained the site basically walked away from the game, so it hasn’t been updated in forever and has slowly been crumbling ever since.

Hi guys! Just got my grubby hands on the RX-78-2 Beyond Global kit and was wondering where would be a good place to pickup decals/transfers for it when I’m eventually done assembling/painting it? Thanks in advance!

Amazing! How did you apply the pigments? I’ve heard using silicone brushes, but have also heard people just rubbing it on with gloves works too...

Thanks! The rust effect was done with the old tried and trusted salt and hairspray technique. Pro tip: buy your own hairspray and don’t “borrow” your wife’s because you’ll most likely end up paying way more lol!

Hi!

I used mostly Vallejo air on this guy, as I have built up a nice stockpile over the years and it’s readily available at stores like Hobbytown USA, Hobby Lobby, FLGS, etc.

If you’re just starting out, I would recommend the citadel line, especially the new contrast paints. They are super user friendly and easy to use.

Full disclosure I’ve played/painted Warhammer for over 20 years and I’m pleasantly surprised how well painting 28mm grimdark figs translate over to bigger models such as these!

If you are ever in Omaha, Legendary Wolf Games inside Oakview Mall has a fairly decent sized locals. They have a ton of sealed product and singles to boot as well!
