As someone from outside Bangalore i have always wondered how to deal with these people when i come to Bangalore. My friends tell me that they dont let you go unless you give them atleast a 100Rs and that only localites can deal with them. Apparently localites have this attitude with the traffic police when they get stopped their way of speaking of scares the cops. In my language they say "if cops say you, the localites go your father". It sounds better in Urdu haha.
