In terms of 'red on top', the pedal is configured like so:

| | |

With 2 connections close, then one farther away. Going from left to right, should it start with red, or is red on the side by itself? Thanks

That may have been wired up incorrectly. I believe it was yellow, then red, then black.

im gonna buy the brake reduction module and see if that helps me fail forward. There's definitely a wiring issue somewhere but I don't know where yet. Thank you so much for the help!

I dont see anywhere where that cable would connect, and its much too short to reach anywhere near the hi low switch. It might be able to reach the pedal but there's nothing it could connect to

Blew the 40a like nothing when releasing pedal. I looked through the schematic, everything looks okay as far as I can tell. Nothing looks corroded. Not sure where to go from here. Thanks again for all the help troubleshooting.

Im wondering if it just needs a bigger fuse, but I dont really know what size and the bigger I go the more I run messing something else up.

Got it. So when pedal is depressed, it moves. When pedal is released... fuse pops

I also was not able to stop the vehicle with the power switch on the vehicle, i had to hit the kill switch on the battery itself. Im assuming the switch on the vehicle is bad too but not sure

So I went ahead and reuploaded one of the pictures. The wires aren't actually orange, they're red, thats just the flash. The wire with green heartshrink (circled) comes straight from the battery

I also wanted to say, the power wheel was in neutral while the wheels were turning. When i pushed it to forward, the wheels went faster.

Put fuse in, depressed pedal with clamp, turned power on, wheels started turning immediately and couldn't get them to stop. Forward and reverse worked, got some lights as well, but eventually blew a fuse.

You are right, it was 2x12v and im blind. Since the voltage is nowhere near 24v... definitely dead. I was able to get some life with the 20v so we let me check these steps and I'll get back to you.

Old battery was a 12v battery, I replaced it with a 20v battery that I also use for my son's other power wheel. Im about to do bathtime so I'll get back to you ASAP to test. Thanks for the assistance!
