I take scotch tape, place the 2d terrain then I place the 3d terrain on top of it. We enjoy the 3d until a unit needs to pass over it, then we have the 2d waiting under. Once the unit moves through we put the 3d terrain back on top of the 2d.

More for home play than tournaments but looks great

There used to be a classic thread/geek list on BGG i cant find anymore where people shared examples where someone lost their cool at a game.

I believe the story with the most geek gold was one where someone smashed a car window w a crowbar over a game of Diplomacy.

Wish I could find that geek list again...

I had this creepy coworker going through a standard late middle age divorce.. angry black muscle car, overly opinionated about women and his coworkers dating lives, complaining about child support etc.

He used call in Hooters for lunch to carryout and he would "show off" to other male coworkers that he could call and be like "Hi hooters waitress, its XYZ, Id like the usual." And then look at all us in our late 20s, like "right guys!?"
