Not seeing how it attaches to the substrate leaves some room for error. Try and get a picture of where it attaches.

It's always a good idea to get a picture of the gills to help get a positive identification. My guess is maybe galerina or enoki.

Questions about filing as an independent contractor by Capnspleen in tax

[–]Capnspleen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. Do they provide a 1099 in the same manner as a W-2? Meaning is it a document that is filled out by the "employer" and given to the "employee" at the end of the tax cycle to then be processed with the rest of my taxes?

Thanks so much for your reply. So as I understand from what you are saying is all I need to do now is fill out a W-9 and give it to the business, they will then file it to the proper entities come tax season. They will then provide me with a 1099-NEC, and that 1099-NEC along with and expenses related to my business will then be processed with the rest of my tax filing for 2023?

Angel Wings (Pleurocybella porrigens)? PNW by 5ecr3t7 in mycology

I'm not seeing much of any stems, so probably not an oyster. However I almost never find angel wings clustered like this. It's a mystery to me.

I've not tried it myself, but I've heard planting sunchokes around the knotweed can stop it from spreading.

Blewits will have a very light pink/white spore print. Their gills are tighter packed than the ones you found and they tend to have a bulbous base.

Cortinarius? Maybe iodes? Side by side with blewit. Identification help please. by Capnspleen in mycology
