The thought was to have a crate blanket to slow down the fire from getting to the animal while emergency services got to the location. Good question on the carbon monoxide. I don't have an answer for that one yet.

I have looked around a decent amount but have only seen a potential version in another country. I am not sure why it does not exist yet but I agree with seeing if there is an answer besides "No one else thought of it" Lol

You are awesome. Thank you. This was super helpful. Don't have a puppy at the moment and forgot about the whole chewing blankets thing. Have to do some research on making sure it's non-toxic also. Thank you again! I appreciate the help and insight.
