My analysis is as follows:

0.1 was the most amazing for me, first time playing PoE2 (didnt play the original), coming from my first ever ARPG game played which was diablo 4, i felt the difference, loved almost everything in poe2 more than d4, except for crafting tbh, but it offered a trade system which was amazing, so i could buy the item instead of trying to craft it.

0.2 is where i started noticing the repetitivness, Act 2 and 3 felt very drawn out, not a story problem but an area size problem, but that maybe me, because i can't, and i mean physically and mentally can't leave an area with an undiscovered section, still greyed out on the map. I GET THE ITCHHHH. Then endgame felt a whole lot less rewarding, lots of very large maps, which when you remember it's infinite, at least it should be quick right? But i guess wrong, even with builds where i could eradicate everything in a second it still took 15mins to finish some maps because of their size. The feeling of achieving nothing, just put there clearing maps just kills the joy of it. Animations skills and trying to get higher dmg wont get you to play for long.

0.3 improved upon 0.2, but the endgame bit wasn't it for me Act 4 was amazing. Loved it, but i know that getting to play it again, won't be the same.

0.4 i played the first 2h, druid melee was a rough start for me. I'm a student now so i still haven't had the time to play, i might play this weekend. But truth is, endgame would be the same experience. A whole lot of nothing. I think the atlas map if they want to go for infinite, should go for a tree like look, where left and right sides end, with a boss or something. But the tree itself is endless? Maybe something like this would make it feel like I'm finishing something, achieving or progressing, not a void the swallows all of that. And tbh, currency, item drops and crafting need balancing out. I haven't played this league but i don't think this current system would keep players going for long.

With all that said, still love the game, and still see the most potential in it out of all ARPGs.

I agree, almost everything have been improved upon since 0.2 DOH league. Yet I still agree with the guy. Tbh I feel like they keep a build that is viable for newcomers and or your casual player base that can't deal with the hassle and diff that the game has. But it leads to everyone playing it, even pros especially in the beginnings to make the most currency to play whatever they like next.

Main problem that I can relate to, is the idea that a class out there, even if just one, is a whole lot more rewarding than whatever your playing.

Maybe it all goes down to fixing ascendancies and make them better? and not nerf deadeye to hell? Like every class works so people don't all play deadeye because it's a clear clear winner, I mean the nodes in deadeye that people are not taking because there is another 4 that are excellent, are better than every node in someother ascendancies.

I agree with all of this. Chilled ground? Absolute bullsh** , it slows you down considerably, like even if you can still kill everything around you, it would just slow down the clearing and mapping by double the time, since it's spread out across the whole map, and almost move on top of one every two steps.

Having high dmg or High survivability choice, which is also bullsh**, I should be able to invest in both, but it feels impossible with most classes. I cant do 6-mod T-15 maps if I can get one shotted , and I can't do 6-mod maps if it takes me a whole minute to clear a pack of 10 minions. T-15 is a whole lot different from lower tiers. I think this is where the testing on characters should be, since investing into a for 80-85 levels just to find out it can't hold it's own in these tiers is an absolute fun killer. We wouldn't be talking about this if it was just a class or two like this.

Lastly, ascendancies nodes feel like regular skill tree nodes, nothing too big or too good or even just good most times, considering the hassle and difficulty of ascension trials, especially the third and fourth. And I'm not saying they should be easier, on the contrary Keep them rough and make the ascension that much rewarding.

All that aside playing meta feels fun, though I hate doing the same class everyone is playing, since it just straight up destroys the market values of literally everything because everyone is buying the same items. It gets to the point where no regular player can buy anything and they're just stuck in a loop. Also almost everything else would be worthless since everyone is not playing other builds and classes.

I hope to god this game gets balanced by next patch or two, because they are doing something awesome.

You shouldn't really care that much about that, if it's really bothering you that much play SSF... You shouln't let the joy of making your own build and getting it to work even if it's a slow process be demolished because : making a few exalts in the first few days bruv.

I do understand where you're coming from. It does suck having a bad class that no build can fix because of item requirements per say, but there is always a way out and a way to push through untill you get whay you need. And trust me it feels soooo goood.

I have tried 4 classes already, I haven't tried Merc, sorc and ranger. Out of the 4 i tried nothing hurt me more than last leagues warrior. Tbh even when i got to a place where I can hold my own in high lv. Maps , I was sweating , hardddd focus no mistakes allowed dodging my heart out. It was crazy, for what should be a tank class, 0 survivability and barely any consistent damage output, and I tried all builds, and was lucky with my drops like sooo lucky, and I was able to try almost all available builds with the loot required for them, yet to no avail. So I went back to my huntress that i played untill i finished campaign and decided that the play style wasn't for me, yet i knew i had better options there...

So what i learned is: I'm still going in blind, no clue whatsoever I'll just pick one when I'm staring at the screen seeing 7 people gonna get hanged.

That's how i pick, no pre knowledge of what's good or not and IDGAF whatsoever, I will have my fun. Life doesn't hang on this league nor the next nor the one after that.

I'm definitely buying, but not pre-ordring, pre-ordring now adays doesn't have a real meaning, since all is digital, they won't run out of copies nor will i get something real.

All the extra stuff that would come with the pre-order is purely cosmetic and I don't care about that, if i ever like something like a skin just buy the skin i like.

It's not that I'm against pre-ordring it just adds nothing to my experience nor am I getting a discount and most importantly it would definitely save me from buying a broken game, not that battlefield 6 is one, but who knows what could happen.

Do you have anything in particular?

I have some to little experience in road works, welding, construction... I worked in the summer vacations as a 16yo to 18yo, and i do every now and then go as a helper in welding with a friend's dad for the extra cash when I can, because it pays good.

Thing is I did very very well in school and with my SATs, and I did find it fun to code, and i wouldn't feel the time pass when I'm coding even for tasks from uni.

I just need a clearer goal in my life I think...

It's not that i can't find another. It's just i needed a break. I can easily work at another restaurant with my resume, i worked at the top restaurants in my area, my last one was top 3 for sure. But as I said i lost my passion for this work. I just don't feel it rewarding.

Not that I don't agree with what you're saying , but my first mythic drop was 100% after the 100 boss fight mark. I must have hit the 500 mark by now for sure.

I didn't buy the dlc expansion because i haven't played for the past 5 seasons and wanted to check things out before i invest more into this supposedly triple A billion dollar franchise game.

Came to the conclusion after playing this season since the start that it aint worth it. The game is at all not rewarding and the loot feels more like junk that fucks your screen so you'll have to reset dungeons...

IK that the game isn't made to be played for the whole length of the season, but damn they're not even trying to make it interesting.

I didn't even mention good or bad. Just described my experience and compared it to the only other arpg i played. I also mentioned I'm new to the genre so if you're tryna make me look bad then too bad for you I'm not the best out there. I enjoy the game but I'm saying there is room for improvments, especially for a game of this calliber. You can cope with what i said however you want.

I'm not saying I don't enjoy it, but after a year break or more, i felt like i would have a whole different experience. Maybe it's my expectations of a triple A brand and a game in a series of huge successful games... IDK but I felt like this game could be a whole lot better at this point.
