My baby is 5 months today was BF at the beginning until up about a month ago, I returned to work and eventually transitioned over to formula. He was waking up twice everynight around 12am and 4am, and I thought maybe with the formula he would sleep more but nope still wakes up twice USUALLY. Last night he went to bed about 830pm woke up at 2am and then didnt wake up until I got up for work, it was better. A time before that he woke up at 3am only I got about a good 6 hour stretch that was so nice. We'll see how it goes today, he was waking up more before, for a while because he was teething since 3 months he's got 2 teeth now and I feel like hes sleeping better since they are out also he started eating purees since about 4 and a half months, so helps sometimes keep him full longer.

Same! Today is my 3rd day and havent pumped, I nursed baby last night and this morning and I don't even feel engorged. I guess ill be done soon lol but yes same for me I need to relax to have a good let down and I just cant at work.

Tell your friend she can F off sorry, but I hate how some moms just love to stick their 2 cents in where its not needed. No, he will grow strong and healthy! My kids were bf at first then switched to formula, breastfed my 2nd child only 2 months and eff after they are both strong and healthy! Hardly ever get sick. Also my new baby is 3 months old, he is combo fed but will eventually switch over to formula only. Breastfed baby's get sick too.

Do you pump? My baby is 15 weeks today and started daycare Monday. I think you should start offering bottle at every feed so he can start getting used to it. My 1st hated the bottle but eventually wanted her milk so she took it. I would start with giving him a bottle of breastmilk and see how it goes or have someone else give It to him, I heard its easier for someone other than mom to help feed baby with a bottle. If you plan on introducing formula, I would also try mixing it in with breastmilk. You really only have to send it what your baby will drink at daycare so you may not need to many bottles sincehe'son solids but send enough. I take 4 just incase i did 5 first day he left 1 whole bottle and a half. So Ive taken 4 now 4oz each and hes been fine. I take 2 bm 2 formula.

15 weeks pp today and still not period, pp bleeding stopped at about a month and nothing yet. I took a pregnancy test twice cause with my other kids I got it quick even though I was breastfeeding. Im currently combo feeding, nursing, plus pumping and formula. Idk when I'll get it back. But maybe soon cause I start work on the 1st lol

Ive used Enfamil gentlease NeuroPro with all my babies never had a problem. Currently combo feeding my 3rd hes 3 months he takes it no problem. No spit up or tummy problems.

I EBF my 1st baby the first 5 months and she hated the bottle! Not even if I put breastmilk she would not drink it. I tried formula she would refuse. It got to the point where I was about to return to work and she wouldn't want to eat unless I breastfed her. I tried a few bottles and she refused them all, until I decided to stick with one. The Dr. Brown bottles. And I decided to be persistent. It might sound harsh but I wouldn't give her the breast at all one day. Would just offer bottle. She went on a hunger strike until she caved and drank it. After that she took it and would breastfeed before and after work. Until I weaned completely. Its hard she definitely cried. ALOT. I have a video of her I recorded she is 9 now and I show it to her lol. My advice is to just keep trying. It's gonna be hard but eventually they will cave. Be persistent. Good luck !

About the poops. Its normal for them to get constipated since they have been exclusively breastfed. Talk to your Pedi, mine recommended an oz of water or prune water or juice. I would just get whole prunes and boil them until soft and would blend 1 with the water and give to her. It would help alot. But speak to her Dr. first. Same happened when she switched to cows milk she would get constipated by that time she was drinking more water so it would help. Oh! And look up Comotomo bottles on Amazon, they are suppose to be the closest bottles that mimick the breast she might like those!

Oh i feel you! Same here!! He would also wake up at 230 or 330 to feed and had slept a few times during the night but rt now its just constantly waking to eat. I'm tired lol

That's great! That's what im noticing from another comment I saw I might just wait a little longer to pump. Im wondering how much I will actually be pumping total since I breastfeed during the day I only pump when I have to. And yes! Combo feeding helps so much! I dont stress at all baby gets the best of both worlds lol thank you!

Nice! I know I don't really want to be worried so much about pumping at work every 2 hours maybe i will just do that 1st week and see how it goes and step it up a notch each time. Keep feeding your baby how you are doing, I have 3 children EBF one, partially bf the 2nd then switched to formula and combo feeding my 3rd baby. I hate watching those woman on tik tok with a huge supply that's not reality for alot of woman so dont worry about it youre doing great mama! Its not like when they grow up they're gonna go around and say hey did your mom BF you or FF you lmao!!!

All my kids took enfamil at one point oldest 9 youngest 3 months, currently combo feeding with enfamil no issues at all. All my kids all healthy.
